🎄 Cannabutter Sugar Cookies (Christmas Edition)
Dough

½ cup cannabutter, softened

½ cup unsalted butter (optional: reduces potency slightly)

1 cup sugar

1 large egg
-
1 tsp vanilla extract (or almond for a festive twist)

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder
-
¼ tsp salt
Optional Decoration

Icing or royal icing (see note below)

Sprinkles, colored sugar, edible glitter
Instructions
1. Prepare Dough

In a large bowl, cream together cannabutter, regular butter, and sugar until fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a smooth dough forms.

Chill dough at least 1 hour for easier rolling.
2. Roll and Cut

Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.

Roll dough to ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.

Use cookie cutters (trees, stars, bells, etc.) for a festive look.

Place cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
3. Bake

Bake for 8–12 minutes, until edges are just golden.

8 min = soft, chewy cookies

12 min = crispier cookies
-

Let cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
4. Optional Cannabutter Icing

1 cup powdered sugar
-
1–2 tsp melted cannabutter (optional, extra potency)
-
1–2 tbsp milk
-
Food coloring
Whisk together until smooth. Decorate cooled cookies with icing and sprinkles.
