🌿 Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter) Recipe
🧈 Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

1 cup (7–10 grams) decarboxylated cannabis

1 cup water (helps regulate temperature and prevents scorching)

🔥 Step 1: Decarboxylate the Cannabis
This step activates the THC (or CBD) in your cannabis.
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 240°F (115°C).

Break cannabis into small pieces. (we recommend Blue Dream from our shelves!)

Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 40 minutes, gently stirring every 10 minutes.

Let it cool.
🍳 Step 2: Infuse the Butter
Instructions:

In a saucepan or slow cooker, combine butter, water, and decarboxylated cannabis.

Simmer on low heat (160–180°F / 70–80°C) for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.

Do NOT boil! That can destroy cannabinoids.

Strain the mixture through cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer into a glass container.

Do not squeeze the plant material — it adds bitterness.

Let it cool, then refrigerate until solid.

Once solid, remove the hardened butter and discard the excess water.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for longer-term use.
